Why riders choose it

The real benefit is getting your phone off the handlebars. Maps, messages and music run on the screen over Bluetooth, so the phone stays in your pocket — out of the rain, out of sight, and not being shaken apart by engine vibration. The recording is a bonus rather than the point.

Worth knowing before you order

There's no WiFi, so footage is reviewed on the screen or by taking the card out — you can't pull clips to your phone the way you can with the Viofo or Vantrue. If evidence quality is your main concern, one of the dedicated cameras will serve you better. If you want connectivity first and recording second, this is the one.

Fitting

We fit these at our Markham shop for $300, covering mounting, hidden cabling, wiring to a switched power source and setup. Some machines need extra parts such as relays or resistors; we'll tell you before we start if yours does.
