We offer this system in multiple installed configurations, and you can choose which one is right for you. 

Anti-Theft Immobilizer Configuration
This configuration will prevent your vehicle from being started, when the 3105V is armed via the included key fob. The system will NOT have any alarm features (such as the siren or shock sensor), and will ONLY function as an anti-theft immobilizer, which is activated actively, by pressing the key fob lock button. There is no auto-arming functionality available, in this configuration. 

Factory remote starter (if your vehicle is equipped) can be retained in most applications, but not all applications. 

Car Alarm with Anti-Theft Immobilizer Configuration
This configuration would include all available security functions and features, such as door trigger, hood trigger, trunk trigger, shock sensor and siren connection. It also includes an anti-theft immobilizer that is activated upon arming of the system, which you do by pressing the lock button of the included key fobs. Auto arming (passive arming) is available with this configuration.

Factory remote starter (if the vehicle is equipped) CANNOT be retained using this configuration.

The Viper 3108V is an entry level 1-way car alarm that will protect your vehicle from theft or vandalism. 

This system includes two 4 button remote controls that offer easy to use performance with Viper's high quality. This system can protect your hood, doors, trunk, and will detect impact through it's included DoubleGuard shock sensor.
