This is the Compustar FT-ALARMIT security upgrade kit.

If you already have a compatible Compustar remote starter fitted, this turns it into a full alarm. You keep the system, the harness and the install work you've already paid for, and add the security functions on top.

What's in the kit

• FT-DASII — four-in-one sensor detecting shock, tilt, glass break and movement
• FT-SIRENP — siren
• FT-LED — status indicator, the visible deterrent on the dash
• E-LOCK relay — starter kill, so the engine cannot crank while armed

The starter kill is the part worth noting. A siren tells people something is happening; a starter kill means the car doesn't move regardless.
