This is the Starline L21-HOOD-LOCK Electronic Hood Lock.
This hood lock is universal and can be used as a stand alone lock, however you can pair the L21-HOOD-LOCK with a Starline i96CAN or E9 series security system, which will then activate engine blocking when the hood is locked.
The L21-HOOD-LOCK is designed to be installed inline along the hood release cable, between the release handle and the hood latch, which the cable is attached to.
StarLine L11+, L11 or L21 hood locks are used for the vehicle anti-theft
protection with fixing the hood to the front engine panel. The hood lock is
the eletromechanic device which prevents from unauthorized access to
the vehicle engine compartment. In case of integrated switch avaiable it
blocks the engine start while the hood lock is locked. The lock is designed
