KLON is an iDatalink programming procedure that eliminates the need to sacrifice an expensive key or key-fob for your vehicle, when installing a remote starter.
KLON requires (MANDATORY) the use of the iDatalink ADS-USB tool. You must use this tool, there is NO OTHER way to complete the KLON programming procedure.
iDatalink makes a special tool for removing the ignition node in select Mercedes Benz vehicles. If you are doing the install yourself, this tool is extremely helpful.
If Lockdown Security is performing the installation for you, we supply the tool and will use it during the installation.
